GOP speaks with forked tongue

More on the GOP response to the State of the Union address. It seems Governor Nimrata Randhawa’s speech wasn’t pro-immigration enough; the Spanish-language version, which was delivered by Mario Diaz-Balart, (R-Cuban America),  had some rather conspicuous differences.

“Meantime, longtime Miami Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, a U.S. born son of Cuban immigrants, delivered essentially the same speech in Spanish, offering an identical warning to “resist the temptation” of listening to those angry voices, but Diaz-Balart focused on passing immigration reform as the main solution to the problem.

Without mentioning names, both speeches – nearly word for word versions of each other – offered an alternative to the hard-line immigration messages resonating from the Republican presidential campaign.”

From the Spanish version:

No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country. It is not who we are. At the same, it is obvious that our immigration system needs to be reformed.”

Just a note to anyone who doesn’t yet understand Republican doubletalk: the term ”reform” when applied to the immigration system just means ”amnesty” or ”come one, come all, Olly Olly Oxen free.” Same when they speak of ”fixing our broken immigration system.” Amnesty. That’s what they mean, and open borders in perpetuity. As the Wall Street Journal has proposed since 1984, ”There Shall Be Open Borders.”

At any rate, I’m glad this little GOP game of duplicity was made public; it’s obvious that the GOP is wooing Hispanic and other foreign voters and has long since abandoned any pretense of loyalty or allegiance to the old-stock inhabitants of this country; they’ve ditched us in favor of a new diversity sweetheart.

And look at who the principals are in this story: Nimrata Randhawa Haley, Mario Diaz-Balart, and the would-be nominee for president, Rafael Cruz, also of Cuban descent like Diaz-Balart.

Make no mistake, Cruz is a part of the Replacement America. And I do hope that some Anglo-Americans finally recognize that these vaunted ”conservative Cuban-Americans” were just biding their time, and that they see the new Hispanic immigrants as allies and co-inheritors. They consistently side with the open borders crowd despite their alleged conservatism.

How plain does it have to be made that there is a changing of the guard here? These are the ‘new Americans’ representing the New Order; we’ve been replaced in all but name. The GOP thinks it is switching to the winning side, while it is in fact guaranteeing that the Immigrant will be the inheritor of what was once the USA. There has been a change in management, and it’s slowly being revealed as a fait accompli.
