Egalitarianism: deceiving and being deceived

At the Faith and Heritage blog, there is a comment by ‘Warner’ which is worthy of quoting here:

A new Reformation against the lies of Egalitarianism, the main engine of Babelist globalism, would be well justified indeed. The most frightening aspect of egalitarianism to believing Christians, who seriously ponder about the subject, is that in the name of social play-acting, people are forced to promote a LIE. And unrepentant liars, people who twist God’s created reality, will go to Hell.
Revelation 22:15: “For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”

That is, the “pseudophiles” – lovers of falsehood – have no place in the Kingdom of Heaven.
There are many egalitarians who might say, on an unguarded moment or at least to themselves, in their heart of hearts, that “well, equality may not be literally true or 100 % true, but it’s still such a beautiful and inspiring ideal that we can tell few fibs on behalf of such a worthy cause.”

This is something that has been in my thoughts lately, as our society is ever more immersed in lies. I’ve asked friends (Christian friends, mind you) if it isn’t wrong to lie or to be a party to lies in the name of politically correct egalitarianism.  For example, even to gloss over ethnic/racial differences, never mind outright lying or concealing facts, in the name of ‘fairness’ or of not hurting some hypothetical person’s feelings.

Even more egregious is the example of being forced to, say, refer to a ‘trans-gender’ person as being the sex they claim to ‘feel’ they are, or are ”transitioning” to, rather than referring to them according to their innate sexual identify. Someone with XY chromosomes will never be a female, regardless of surgical mutilation or dressing up in the opposite sex’s clothes, and the same goes for a YY, a female, like ‘Chaz’ Bono, now referred to as a ‘he’. No honest person, nobody with any regard for the truth, will be a party to this kind of glaring dishonesty. One does not ‘change’ one’s sex or ‘gender.’ It’s immutable. Chromosomes don’t lie, and they can’t be surgically altered — as yet.

Nor can honest people pretend that women are suited to combat or other martial pursuits in the same way that men are. Likewise with jobs such as firefighter, prison guards (except in all-female prisons) or security guard. It would be laughable were it not so tragic, this insistence that sex does not matter, that men and women are interchangeable.

Egalitarianism, being the pretense that all people, regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, or whatever are the same, and absolutely equal in potential and capability, must go, or else there’s no hope for reversing the rot that has set into our society. Egalitarianism is at the root of all the disastrous social engineering, including our demented ‘open borders’ world and the current invasion of Europe and the West generally, by invitation of our elites.

The edifice of lies is becoming more precarious every day, and is tottering under the weight of its very mendacity. It can’t hold up forever.

Christians should not participate in adding to or maintaining of this systematized lying. If we all passively refused to go along with this ‘deceiving and being deceived,’ the system might give way.

  1. Very well said, VA. If you haven't already, I highly recommend that you read Solzhenitsyn's essay “Live Not By Lies.” He argues that truth is a powerful weapon, even against entrenched tyranny.

  2. Egalitarianism is most certainly the root cause of all disastrous problems in the West. Fortunately, there's enough people capable of easily accepting the simple truth that individuals are better suited for certain things than others. My follow up question is why the same cannot be said of groups? Never is there a good response. But I think the Civil rights era, for whatever good it may have done, was steeped in egalitarian thinking; the very idea that we can only judge a person on character alone presupposes that human beings are merely the sum total of their choices and never any supposed inherent qualities (like sex or race for example).

  4. Roland – it's been some while since I read any Solzhenitsyn. I will try to find time to do that.

Nick – thanks for your comments. I appreciate your thoughts.
I agree with the idea of asking people why we can acknowledge inequalities among individuals, but not recognize inequalities between groups of people. After all, the group's traits are an aggregate of the individuals within that group.

And about 'judging by content of character' as MLK said, well, that's the criterion under which many people do in fact judge minorities — and they then see the stereotypes validated — in the case of honest observers, anyway.
